The Pastor as Theologian

A one-day conference on the role of pastors as theologians in their local church.

 

Speakers:

Bryan Bademan (PhD, University of Notre Dame): Bryan is the Executive Director of Anselm House. As an undergrad, he was especially inspired by the study of the Christian past and completed degrees at Wheaton College (M.A.) and Norte Dame (Ph.D.). Anselm House has a unique ministry at the University of Minnesota as they help students and faculty connect faith and knowledge with all of life.

Joel Lawrence (PhD, Cambridge University): Joel is the Executive Director of The Center for Pastor Theologians (CPT). He has served as the Senior Pastor at Central Baptist Church in Saint Paul and on the faculty of Bethel Seminary. Joel has a Ph.D. from Cambridge University and was a founding fellow of the CPT.

Brian Tabb (PhD, London School of Theology): Brian is the Academic Dean and Professor of Biblical Studies at the Bethlehem College and Seminary. He has a Ph.D. from London School of Theology and his research interests include suffering, the use of the OT in the NT, Acts, and Revelation. He also serves as the general editor for Themelios, published by The Gospel Coalition.
